i'm joining in with the third sockapalooza sock swap. the socks i'm making are in angel sock yarn in claret. and the pattern is the "gentleman's sock in lozenge pattern" from knitting vintage socks. i'm making it smaller than the book though as my sock pal doesn't have a large gentleman's foot, i hope the sizing is going to work ok!

i'm ready to turn the heel on the first sock.

Now I've completed one sock and have turned the heel on the second.

Finished and ready to put in the post to a secret location:

i started knitting these socks on february 16th 2006 and finally got around to grafting the second toe at the end of april.

And these are the socks that my sock pal Tuulia made for me.

Tuulia dyed the yarn herself.

They are completely fab and I love them!
